Thomas Flynn and Douglas Schirle Join SportgenicTM as Vice President of Sales - Eastern and Western Region Respectively

Executives Have Extensive Background in On-Line Media

Flynn as vice president of sales, Eastern region and Douglas J. Schirle as vice president of sales, Western region.

In their new roles, Flynn and Schirle will co-lead advertising sales for the fast-growing sports ad network that has become increasing popular among advertisers who recognize the value of a sports-minded, community-oriented online audience. Prior to joining Sportgenic, Flynn was the national sales director for Golf Digest Digital, where he led the sales of the re-launched GolfDigest.com as the preeminent content site for golfers worldwide, and GolfForWomen.com. His other accomplishments include being recognized as the #1 digital media salesperson for VNU Business Media's mid-size Web sites from 2003 to 2006. His past experience includes time at Yahoo! and Engage Media.

With 20+ years of sales experience, Douglas Schirle has a proven track record of increased revenue generation. As the vice president of advertising sales for PureVideo Networks, Inc., he realigned sales territories to maximize sales and streamlined product offerings to clearly communicate features and benefits to advertisers and agency partners. As the West Coast sales director for that same company, Schirle successfully closed advertising campaigns with target accounts such as Nike, Coors, Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment, EA Sports, and Sony Playstation. His past sales experience includes time at WebMed, weather.com and PointRoll.com.
